Here’s just some of the advice I’ve seen floating around the Internet over the last two years.

• Show up multiple times per day
• Post reels 3x/day
• Lean into video
• Lean into shorts
• Lean into podcasting
• Blog! Without a blog your site will never get found!
• And make those posts LONG or they’ll never rank
• Email your list every day
• Email multiple times per day
• Have an active Facebook group

The list goes on. Draining, isn’t it?

It seems our focus is on quantity over quality. But, despite this deafening advice, there are also people who will tell you the importance of quality over quantity.

• Short content can work when done well (just ask Seth Godin)
• You can earn 6-figures off a single blog post without an email list or funnel by only posting 3x/year (just ask one of my clients whom we’ve done this for numerous times)
• You don’t have to have a podcast, you just have to appear on other people’s podcasts to get your voice heard (just ask Christine McAllister who I had on my show).

There’s truth in consistency breeding outcomes. Action-takers learn, evolve, and grow, while simultaneously showing up. I’m a big fan of doing it messy and getting your business out into the world, warts, and all when needed.

But there’s also truth in giving yourself the grace to do it your way. Find your voice. Find the rhythm that will work for you AND breed results. Seth Godin, my client, and Christine all have without looking sideways.
